Today was an important day in the school calender. The Assembly was presided by Mr. Manjit Dua, Arjuna Awardee in Table Tennis. Manika Batra and Table Tennis coach Mr. Sandeep were honoured with a bouquet and a memento. Investiture Ceremony was conducted with the induction of the new students council, who were decorated with special I-card. Principal Mrs. Kumar conducted the oath taking Ceremony. Students who had brought laurels towards to the school in different fields were given prizes.

Manika Batra student of outgoing XII class secured Bronze Medal in 19th Common Wealth Table Tennis Championship. A school girl student of Delhi has secured a Medal for the first time in the history of Common Wealth Games. Neha Aggarwal student of Hansraj Sports Academy also secured 2 Bronze Medal.

Parents of students of classes I-XII may please note that the school will observe timings 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. between 13-5-13 and 18-5-13 to make the change in transport system more effective. On foot and van children of Primary Deptt. will leave at 12:30 p.m. On Foot children will be taken from the school Auditorium & van children from T.T. Hall. & Sr. school van students will leave between 1:20-1:30 p.m from Gate No-5C (Near Lawn Tennis Court). Usual timings will resume from 1 July 2013.

Hansraj Model School has been awarded the first runner up 2012 for maintaining its heritage activities through the school blog called Sampada by INTACH.
