Excursions and Educational trips: The students of the school are regularly taken out for excursions and trips which not only enhance their learning and understanding of the world outside but also develop their personality as they learn to make decisions, take personal care and share responsibilities. The destinations of these trips and excursions are selected to provide education, fun, adventure and enjoyment.
Education is inclusive of all experiences this is the belief with which we at HANSRAJ organize the Educational Tourism Programme for children all round the year. Regular visits to old age homes, orphanages, blind schools are arranged with the aim of sensitizing students to their social responsibility towards the less fortunate sections of the society. Hansarians are exposed to wide range of rejuvenating art programmes with emphasis on innovative techniques that can be imbibed through hands on experiences. One such art camp organized by an NGO 'EMPOWERMENT', in association with the Ministry of External Affairs at the Jim Corbett National Park is worth mentioning. The trip lighted up the imagination of the students & opened doors to creativity. Apart from this, tours to places which supplement class room learning are also undertaken. In the KG deptt, children are taken to places of worship of different religions. The lower primary children visit post offices, banks, Bal Bhawan & Doll Museum. In upper primary children go for a tour of the Punjabi Bagh nursery & Pusa Institute along with Museum of Natural History & Dilli Haat. In the middle Sec & Sr. Sec. classes, visits to the Yamuna Bio-diversity Park were organized. Students were given an exposure to rural life and a hands on experience in pottery, Heena application, cart rides, mud baths etc at Pratapgarh farms.
