Interact Club

INTERACT is a Rotary International’s Service Club for young people. The Clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs and are provided support and guidance, if required. Otherwise, they are self-governing and self-supporting.

INTERACT, from ‘INTERnational ACTion’, trains its members to be dedicated to school and community service, which can have an impact on the society as a whole.

The INTERACT Club of Hansraj Model School is sponsored by Rotary Club (Delhi-Midwest). It has its members from Classes IX and XI (non-board classes). Interested students are selected on the basis of an interview conducted by the Teacher-Incharges: Ms. Pratibha Gangal and Ms. Saloni Sharma.

On the basis of their ability and talent, the INTERACT Club’s Board is instituted, which consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and several others as members of the club.

An ‘Installation Ceremony’ is held to recognise the Board and its Members. They all are adorned with collar badges.

The purpose of the club is to inculcate various qualities like- leadership, social sensitisation, team work and so on, among the students. The Club is solely managed by the students; however, guided and helped by the teachers occasionally. Before taking up any project the members meet in the Zero period or during recess to plan their course of action.

The INTERACT Club of Hansraj Model School has taken up a number of projects at the school and community level:
